Integrative Personality Types
Different sides. A connected whole.
This group includes APC1 and APC2, with a focus on integration and the ability to shift between different ways of expressing yourself. Showing different sides does not necessarily mean being inconsistent. These types are not more advanced than other personality types.
APC-1
Integrative Exploration
Broad interests, reason and feeling, and a willingness to explore.
You have a youthful presence and a contemporary sense of style, with an interest in both rational analysis and emotional expression. Different fields attract your curiosity, and you are willing to connect existing experience and resources while trying varied approaches. Faced with a new question, you may look for clues from several perspectives and bring what you discover together with your own feelings. How can you organize these broad interests and varied ideas into expression and action that suit the situation?
APC-2
Adaptive Insight
A broad perspective, connections across fields, and flexible action.
You give a mature, steady impression, looking at the whole picture and considering longer-term effects. As circumstances evolve, you are willing to bring together information and methods from different fields and adapt your approach to practical realities. When assessing a new direction, you consider how it connects with existing plans and what changes it could bring over time. How can a broad perspective, long-term thinking, and flexible action work together to put worthwhile ideas into practice?
Does this sound a little like you, but not quite?
A brief description may help you recognize a familiar side of yourself, but it cannot capture everything about any one person.
